A Long Time Ago in Galilee
Jesus, an odd-job man, leaves his Mum in Galilee and goes off in search of his cousin John the Baptiser. As he rubs shoulders with all kinds of people and shares his life with them, we witness Jesus’ growing realisation that he is being called to announce God’s Kingdom, and we see Jesus’ extraordinary power to attract people to himself and to touch their hearts. Book 1 ends with the wedding celebrations at Cana.
These books offer a radical retelling of the gospels, showing us a Jesus who is human and often political. They are perfect for classroom and parish work, as well as for personal devotion and inspiration.
Nine books are planned in all.
