Jesus tells his friends and anyone who will listen about God the ‘Big-Hearted Father’. He shows the people how nothing is impossible to God, healing the sick, forgiving sins, and raising the dead to life. Jesus teaches the fisherfolk how to pray simply and directly to God, and the book ends with Jesus and twelve of his followers preparing to go up to Jerusalem together to celebrate the Jewish festival of Passover.

These books offer a radical retelling of the gospels, showing us a Jesus who is human and often political. They are perfect for classroom and parish work, as well as for personal devotion and inspiration.
